My daughter goes to Griffin and I went to Griffin back in the day. Every years it changes from which is a better school. Lakeview has probably upped their rep with all the Stewart Peninsula kids going there now.

Last night at my sons baseball game one of the players goes to griffin and the kid that brought the .40 claimed some high school kids were going to jump him after school.. he's brought a knife to school before too.. (this is just gossip from 12-14 year olds so it may not be 100% accurate)... but there's my 411 contribution lol..

This is what I suspected, it was for defense. If he was running around the school saying he was gonna shoot up the place and then brought the gun, that's different from defending yourself in my opinion. I don't condone bringing a gun to school at all, but its understandable.

Definitely make sure it's Frisco ISD if you're looking to move to that area.

We considered Little Elm (Sunset Point) when we decided to leave Grand Prairie. The traffic on 423 was ridiculous. We found a few houses in FISD that we liked but the zero lot lines and traffic pushed us out further. Prosper and Celina is crazy expensive so we went further.

Wow...still does not make it ok but man sure did scare the hell out of all the parents.

Why would kids from HS want to jump him? I think it has a lot to do with that REC center next to the police station.
