  • New trucks with E locker

I know how it works to a degree. But can u turn corners with it on or does it act like a spool an just flat out lock it? Been curious about this. TIA

    Like it or not?

on my fx2, it LOCKS the diff. I was messing with it when I first got it and left it on while attempting a turn. it was def. locked.

        god bless.

So acts like a tire chirping spool? Seems risky for ford to do that an stress the rearend like that....doesnt it?

It is definitely locked, if you turn on pavement it won't slip. I don't know about durability, but it unlocks over a certain speed so I assume that helps.

When have you found it necessary to use the e locker? A boat ramp?

no problem, it did exactly what I expected it to do.

It was off 99.9% of the time, but i had it when I needed to tie my wheels together.

On my last FX4 the switch went out and left it on all the time for a bit. I can assure you it locks that bitch and chirps the tires all the way around and made it hard to turn. Cheap switch to replace though. Also they turn off at like 35 mph automatically.

Quite honestly... A certain amount of slip for cornering purposes. To put a straight up locker to me is pretty ballsy
