They went wayyy to far on that deal. Idk why the kid would wanna be remembered as the guy with his dick out 30 years from now, but it should have been handled at the school level. A felony is extremely harsh considering everything.

Just one of a million examples on how jacked up the American Justice system has become. Frankly, we should just take the word "justice" out of that. It's a damn farce.

photoshop the dick out, handle it between school and parents. No need to go farther. Those 69 other boys likely have already seen his dick, and they surely have seen a dick before either way. Not like they could see it looking at the camera anyway.

I agree with this. Bottom line - he knew it was wrong but he certainly doesn't deserve to go to prison or have the rest of his life ruined over it.

We do not and have never had a Justice system in this country. We have and will always have a legal system.

I'm assuming the yearbook was already printed.

To that note, how big was the picture in the yearbook? Could it really be seen? and yes, seems like an overzealous prosecution. Might was well sue the school district, too, for distribution of child porn.

I didn't think the kid should have gotten prosecuted criminally, but what the fuck did that dumb motherfucker think was going to happen by showing his junk in a school pic? What a fucking moron.
