It's Canada. There's ice so odds are....there's probably rust.

    Also, fuck Canada.

Before purchasing, make sure of the cost in taxes & exchange rates to get back into the US. My friend bought a Mopar (or No Car) up there last Summer and he was unpleasantly surprised by the cost to get it back over here.

If it was driven in the winter I wouldn't buy it.

The title history is going to be jacked up due to the metric system. Don't trust the mileage. Depending on the manufacturer it could be built with different emission standards for Canada.

judging by what the older trucks where i am and north of here look like, i'd say no unless it was stored in the winter and/or has a hefty undercoating applied.

Good info... thanks guys... Odometer shows 64K , In kilos thats roughly 40k miles.

GM comes with a rust/ corrosion warranty .. is it not worth it ?

Can you not find a better deal or similar truck in the lower 48? Just seems like a monumental hassle

exchange rate is very friendly right now

if it were a clean rust-free truck, I would consider it, but I've yet to see a Canadian truck that I considered rust free

I have bought a few cars from there over the years but they were not the type to be driven in the snow and I had them inspected before the purchase. You can find some good deal because most people are not willing to go through the effort to bring a car from there down here.
