we are doing away with our current logo due to people seeing the sign and thinking we are a bar plus i never cared for it. We actually do not sell any alcohol.

When I hear or see "The Woolf Den" I immediately see a old British or New England pub, interior is all old wood, stone fireplace, and the sign is an old style wood sign that hangs from chains above the door. I would expect a place like that to serve food but the name makes me think of a bar. And for a pub and the sign I described that new sign would work well, but it doesnt scream restraunt to me. Still makes me kind of think bar at a glance. I agree with others you may want to look at ways to distinguish and stand out as a place to eat. No ideas at the moment but will post back if anything pops into my head. Pics of the inside of the place?

What color is the sign close to the building? Or the pan surrounding the letters at least?

Looks like you have some zero scaping/desert landscaping going on with a tin roof and some stone?... There are some pretty cool ways to incorporate that into a logo while using some color to add some pop.

IMHO, you need a complete overhaul on the name and design.
"... Den" suggests a bar type atmosphere. Woolf can be toned down from sounding like a men's club by simply stating "Woolf Family Restaurant "

This is the original Woolf Den in Bowie TX. My sister in law whose last name is Woolf opened it in 2001 and my in laws family opened this one in 2004.

$12.99 is our most expensive entree. 10oz sirloin with 2 sides. The food is good and sales are good. We are just dropping the tanning to be just a restaurant so a sign change is needed. We also want to redo our website to hopefully pull I35 traffic. Winstar is just a few miles away, but why would a traveler want to eat at a tanning salon? 90% of our customers are local and I would like to expand to the non locals.
