If you hit the statistics tab in his profile, it says no matches when you try to view all posts or threads by him.
It's not just recent posts, all his threads and posts are gone when searched using the profile statistics link. The only explanation is that he is on everyone's ignore list. If he would have deleted his posts, it would have reduced his post count accordingly.
