We cut the cord a long time ago.

Got a second-hand Radio Shack HD antenna and put it in the attic
High Speed Internet Connection - $50
Nvidia Shield TV Box with Kodi, Netflix, Hulu.

Tons of content and Shield games on the big screen

(Once you jail break it you can pretty much download any Android Game or App also)

    WOOT!

Once you cut the cord you'll wonder why you didn't do it sooner....

Ill talk to the wife tonight as the changes will affect her most, I could give two shits except this means more money in my wallet...so yeah, I kinda do care, lol.
The FireTV drops down to $79 when they go on sale. Seems to be about every 3 months or so.

Check out your options though. I don't think you can load Kodi on to a Roku. It can be added to older Apple TVs, but not the newer ones.

My FIOS bill is $100/mo after taxes...Its going up to $120/mo April 18 when my contract expires. Im cancelling service and we are getting new service in the fiance's name as a new customer. It will go back to $100/mo for their 75/75 internet, choice HD and phone.

I use tivo and not their DVR. Buy once and cry once. Its not cheap, but I dont pay anything monthly for DVR. I only pay $5/mo for a cable card rental from Verizon.

I love it...their playback and skipping ahead is very smooth when other companies were fumbling around. It sucks because you pay for the box and service. I chose lifetime service on the box. I use one box as the master and use Tivo mini's as slaves. The main box does 6 streams so theoretically I could put 5 Tivo minis and use the main box at the same time. The big thing to me is my rental costs from Verizon is only $5/month for a single cable card. Im not paying $30-50/mo like a lot of other people. My Tivo cost was $800 or so (2 minis and the main tivo).

I didn't even know about the handoff to Frontier until I got the email today. For some reason I have a bad feeling about it...

If those fags start to try the usual bullshit when something gets acquired, I am gone.

So I did the "register your new Frontier acct." thing last night. asks how I want a passcode sent, I select text 2 times, no text... Redo with email, that works. 3 hours later, while I am asleep, a fucking text with the code comes in...

I have Internet and TV, but I can't access any of my movie rentals or on demand.

Right after I made that post this morning I went to the living room and my on demand stuff wasn't working. This is not a good sign.
