I owned my own custom frame shop for a few years. It's hard recommending a shop because you really have two options. Take it to a "mom and pop" and get quality work done at a premium. Or, go to your big box (Michaels, JoAnns, Aaron Brothers) and get a better price....but take your chances on the quality.

There's a place on 35 just north of Burleson called "House of Frames". They have a huge selection of frames and their framers are skilled. "Marty and Pat's" in downtown Fort Worth is very good too....and good people. In Dallas, there is a shop on Mockinbird off 75 called "3 Day Frames"....they're quick but do good work.

There are a lot of "FastFrame" locations around....maybe near you too. These are mostly franchises and the owners take pride in their work....that I've seen.

I don't have the wholesale connections that I once did or I'd help you out, but you can see my work in some of the Star Power locations. I also had the priviledge of framing Darion Hatchers Olympic jersey signed by the team....a gift from his wife (if I had pics, they'd have been posted years ago)

Last bit of advice.....acid-free mats, UV glass (don't fall for the non-glare), and have it pinned down...not sewn.

What rojo said is right on. My wife works for an Aaron brothers and their framer is kickass if you're in the Dallas area she can try and get you a good deal. Quality work for that stuff is a bit expensive though.

Yeah, I am thinking about going that route though. I have found a couple places online that look pretty good, but I am pretty nervous about mailing off my Autographed Jersey to some company in Cali.

I am not from the Dallas area, but dont mind driving....I havent found a place in
            Waco worth a damn yet

What would a decent frame for a 31x25 lithograph cost? I have some cool Scott Jacobs stuff I'd like to put up eventually.

I am pretty sure Michaels or Hobby Lobby do it. There is also a place called Nicks Sports Cards that does it in Richardson.

I've used Michaels b/c often they offer those 60% off deals. Nicks Sports Cards will be pricey just FYI!
