I actually typed a P instead of an A, I run the AS3. Though you described it perfectly. Excellent in the rain and great in dry, but tread wear is something to be desired especailly since they are expensive...

Got the Continental DWS 06 today, damn impressed! They held on pretty good on the wet roads today, seem quiet too (relative as I have loud exhaust). So far tho, I like them, and cheaper than the Pilots were.

Mine have lasted well, but only have about 26k miles on them. Traction sux, and $335/tire!!! This will be my only set. When I need tires, I'll likely get 20" wheels, and tires. Hopefully, Danny won't miss them.

                lol

Rob, glad to hear you like those Continental DWS. I've heard nothing but good about them!

The stock Pirellis are absolutely horrible garbage. I have never been in a 2011+ that felt safe with the factory tires. To me, a decent set of tires is a mandatory first "mod".

I put a set of 20" Hankook Ventus R-S3s (since discontinued) on my car about a year ago. They were awesome for the first 8-9 months but they have become pretty lame since. There's a good chance it's because of the cooler weather. I wouldn't recommend them for a daily anyway because they're a 200 treadwear tire.

I just put some Michelin's on the Camaro, 315s in the back 285's in the front. The tires cost more than the wheels, but man, Pilot Super Sports are the quietest and best performing tires I have ever owned.

I have some 315 Nitto NT05R on the 300C, but i've only put about 5 miles on them. They seem quiet, I kept the PSS on the front.

Sorry if it looks wet, got that Nicks custom detail job on it.

Fuck maybe I should have read all the posts. I've been looking for alternatives that are cheaper, i'll keep this in mind!

They suck after a while, but in summer, and new tread, they gripped OK. I wouldn't buy another set tho.

I like the stock pzero's on my car, well except for the fact that they are half gone after 8,000 miles, but they stick like glue when warmed up.
