Decatur Swap Meet

Saw there is a swap meet this weekend in Decatur. Is anyone going? Is it worth going to? Will it be 95% Chevy stuff like most smaller swap meets or will it be a good mix?

Well worth going,best swap meet of the year imho. Theres a decent supply of ford stuff.

I agree 100%. I quit going to Pate at TMS 2 years ago. Everyone is asking gas monkey and american picker money for stuff. SS, different meet.
Decatur is still old school to me. I always get some deals there.

Pate was awesome in the early 90s.

Guess I have been lucky. Most the stuff I have ever seen at Pate, that I wanted, I brought home. Some it took me a 2-3 days to get it bought but I usually work out something before I leave. I don't miss walking up and down cow pasture in the rain and I don't miss the allergies from it either!!! Seems like every year it was at Pate's place, the parts I always wanted were down in the ravine and it was raining.



Just hope the person that had the Yamaha mini enduro and GT80 last year, shows up at Decatur! I went back to make one last ditch effort to get them and the vendor had left.

I have been going to most since the early 90's. I always look forward to the Decatur meet. Maybe I will come home with a station wagon this year.

I wouldn't go sunday again. They were pulling up stakes early last time I went on a sunday.

Sundays are not very good at any meet, although you might get lucky and find someone not wanting to take things back.
