I enjoy drinking the Fat Tuesday "adult slurpees" and walking the strip for cheap entertainment. Otherwise gambling is fun if you can make the money last. If you're a golfer, the Wynn is the nicest course I've ever played. For food, I liked Spago at Caesars, Three Olives at the Bellagio, Hugo's Cellar at the Four Queens, and SW Steakhouse at the Wynn.

I ate at The Buffet at the Wynn yesterday and the day before and never waited more than 10 minutes (getting there right at open).

I agree Shreveport is great if you're looking for a quick/easy way to gamble at a "real casino" (I too hate the indian run ones), but I think Vegas is on another level for everything else.

Apparently the $50 minimum tables at the Wynn allow 3x, 4x, and 5x odds. I didn't try it myself to find out, but one of the dealers at the regular table told me.

so 1980s... the new bowling spot for locals is South Point :P

My best friend that's still bar tending out there used to bar tend at The Library years and years ago.

He now bar tends at a little locals joint.

I highly recommend renting an exotic and cruise down to the dam. We rented a couple of 458's from Vegas Luxury Rides and did that a couple of years ago. They're full on unadulterated cars, they tell you up front to go have all of the fun you want , but if you get a ticket its on you. We did the dam trip, toured it and milled around for a bit then came back up around Lake Powell, lots of twists to really drive the car pretty hard. In fact when we got the park gates the guard knew what we were up to and gave us a map and pointed us to the good parts.
Finished the trip with a cruise down the strip, hit up the Pawn Stars shop, etc... Best $600 I've ever spent.

                      Yezzir.... http://vegasluxuryrides.com/

The owners are cars guys through and through and will talk to you all day long about them. They knew exactly what we were going to do and are the ones who suggested the route we took. They also mentioned going out to the mountain roads and hauling ass around. They wanted us to come back with the shit eating grins we came back with. There is something so completely fucking satisfying about driving a couple of exotics pretty hard, they aint your typical coupe with $5k worth of mods.

We've been 5-6 times and I have a spreadsheet of a shit ton of things to do, their cost (a lot are free), location, etc. I'd be happy to email it to you if you want.

Nothing sounds more exciting than a spreadsheet.

Most people I talk to have nothing but good things to say about you, but you sure come across as a condescending prick. Do you have an inferiority complex you've attempted to overcome through overachievement? Or were you fondled as a child?

You and slow99 should date. You both have passive aggressiveness down pat.
