    Vegas

    Headed to Vegas in a little over a month. Other than hookers and blow. What have you done there that was a blast. I have never been. Where to eat.
    Half of history is hiding the past.

    I had a blast Ubering all Vegas before Uber was even available in Vegas.

            Old lady and I will be flighting out to Vegas Friday and will be there for weekend with some friends. Any does and dnt's? I've been there before but its been like 10 years since. I heard food/drinks are very expensive. Where are the places that wont break the bank? Any good spots to hand out at? Any pointers would be good.

            Wife and I are going to Vegas for 2 nights next week. Any recommendations on what to do and see while there? Yes, I will be dropping some cash at the casino but I'd like some alternative entertainment while there. This is my first visit to Sin City. I know you guys will give some good info!! ;)

              My favorite shows are Absinthe and Cirque's O. If you are bringing a woman my wife enjoyed Britney Spears. Sky Jump at the stratosphere was pretty cool. Other than that getting F'ed up and losing all my money are my typical activities. I'll be out there in a couple weeks for rugby sevens but NASCAR and UFC are also that weekend so it will probably be a shit show.

              Of course I eat all my meals at Robuchon.

                Friedmont is where the fun is.
                Hoover dam isn't far away.
                Hiking in Red Rock canyon is pretty cool too.

                  Fremont? I agree, we don't even hit the strip, just stick to downtown/Fremont.

                    My wife, my parents-in-law, and I are going next weekend. I haven't been to Vegas as an adult, but my wife has been and all she wants to do is see the Cirque shows AGAIN (sigh). I plan on not being with them most of the time.

                      That's it.

                      The strip is good for stripper cards and losing a lot of money. I don't find it anywhere near as entertaining.

                        Panda and Chipotle...just plan one good expensive meal (Paris tower)...will give you more money to spend on entertainment.
