Any of you ever do this? I've been tossing the idea around to rent an exotic but have not heard anyones realistic feedback on it. What are the main cons? Do they monitor you, do they limit the velocity? Not that I plan on trashing the car, but I would like to play a little bit. I also don't which car would be more fun to drive around and play with. I would prefer to not spend more than $1000 for a 24 hour rental. Any feedback would awesome!

$1k will get you into a Lambo LP for a day with a $2500 deposit. You can drive it about 100 miles at that rate, then it's about 20 cents a mile after.
A much better deal in my opinion if you just want to drive one is to do a track rental.

Did the track rental on the infield course at tms with an f430 and it was a total blast. I think 3 laps was $200 and it was $60 for every 2 extra laps. I did 10 laps and had a blast.
The instructor rode shot gun but after the first lap he just held on after getting the feel for my driving style
