I shave once a month when i get a hair cut, its not a fashion statement, just skin too sensitive to do it all the time

I have the same issue, every time I shave, no matter how often, it looks like I tried to shave with a fucking weed eater. I have to shave and straight into the shower to control the bleeding

I've had facial hair since I was a Freshman in High School. I think I've shaved my entire face one time since then. So, I've seen my chin once in 20 years. I grew a beard long before it was a hipster trend.

A good shave is all about the prep and good shave soap or oil, and decent razors. Has to be done with patience. I have sensitive skin as well and when I do occasionally shave if I rush it it looks like I got in a drunken fight with a cactus. If I take my time it looks great and doesn't hurt. Shave immediately after a hot shower, with a good lather, and go with the grain with little to no pressure. It can be done, but I know how easy it is to fuck up.
