Are you surprised? You have a fucking moron in the White House who lets these idiots get away with any stupid idea they can come up with. The EPA wants to control every aspect of your life.

It's not just the president who is allowing unelected bureaucracies to get away with anything.

His administration appoints the people that lead these agencies. If he didn't like what they are doing he could end it with a phone call.

If they succeed watch off road upgrades and chips for diesel trucks be targeted next, or just any attempt at modification past stock.
I don't like Republicans, but I really FUCKING hate Democrats.

They pretty much already are to an extent. There was a fairly large lawsuit that the EPA won.

I recall a lawsuit against hptuners about deleting emissions software on diesel trucks. Not sure how that ended though

EPAs suit against edge is the one that I recal most. In order to avoid a large judgment, edge had to do a buy back, $500k fine, and I believe had to help EPA in other areas such as understanding the programmer world/market etc.

Reason why certain tuners now bring a couple grand and why anything made in Canada is illegal to import etc.

ETA this was for tuners to allow you to run without a DPF.
