How many times has the WHO hyped up a disease in the last 10-20 years? I don't recall a single time where it became a real problem in any country with 1st world health care.

It really does matter in the areas where the virus is present. Those areas have lower quality health care and a reduced ability to prevent the spread of the disease.

I would be more concerned about West Nile....



All that said, it it high time we started focusing on the root cause of this issue. The FUCKING MOSQUITO needs to be made extinct.

I can understand that point of view.

However, the end result, IMO is that they are giving the public the perception of crying wolf once too often. They are a bit to quick to use the word Pandemic.
