        Trail Dust is shit. And just to clarify- I don't care for any of the places mentioned in this thread (though some are better than others). I think they all suck, compared to a real steak at Bob's, Nick & Sam's, etc. I was just giving options in that price range. And to be clear on another thing - TX Roadhouse is NOT based out of Texas. They have nothing to do with TX, actually, other than the name and they happen to have locations here. It wasn't even founded here, for what it's worth...

              I've only had it once and it might have just been a good day but I got a sirloin at Cotton Patch once and it was surprisingly good.

                              Texas Roadhouse just opened a sister restaurant in Irving called Aspen Creek. I haven't tried it yet, but I want to.

                                TL&C and Outback are atrocities and shouldn't be considered as "decent" steak places, let alone "great".

                                For a moderate priced steak, I'll stick with The Keg (slightly above moderately priced) or Saltgrass.
