I'm not just a "sales guy". I've been on the board a while including pre Canada times.
I didn't intend that to come across as an insult, so my bad. Management there is the issue. And when something goes wrong, it takes management to fix it. Management has no interest in fixing anything, they only act inthe best interests of the bottom line and to protect margins. It's what they're there for. It is rare that sales and management see eye to eye on addressing and resolving complaints.

But, just like condoms and women's rights, I don't believe in them.
My experience wasnt horrible, but it wasnt good either.
First off, their offer on my trade was half of the first dealer i visited, and the price was the same. Second...financing did that same BS trying to upsell every damn package they have whether its a protection plan for the trunk carpet or a special bi weekly payment plan.
I can confidently say that if GVF was the first and only place you went to for a new car, you didnt get the best deal you could have. I have no experience with used cars there.
There's several to quote but I'll quote yours.
I don't think because I went up there and bought my wife's explorer and talked at length with Tony had much to do with making sure Josh or someone else really connected with our community is there now (it might have), but I made a point that I wanted us all to have a good relationship with GVF again. Tony was pretty interested in what I had to say.
My purchase was smooth as could be: matched my trade from another dealer without any questions (I.E. "Yeah I'll do that." And that was it.) , got me the truck I wanted and beat out two other lease offers I had without even bringing them up (big plus). Finance went through without a single issue or even attempt to up sell me. The only pain was dealing with a couple days wait while they dealer traded for the exact model I (my wife) wanted, which Tony even offered to have delivered to my house. They gave me a car to drive for 3 days, which was the exact same model, so my wife was happy as hell. Therefore, I was happy.
Josh is an asset to GVF and to us. He's no bullshit and has been given the same sort of freedoms that Purdy had in regards to getting our board handled. In short, just get in touch with Josh and it'll get done the old school way. That's what they're going to do.

I can't get over the fact that you get to go live the rest of your life, knowing that someone made a Halloween costume out of you. LMAO!!
If people do not have "white credit" something tells me the deal might not go as smoothly as possible. Beside, this is dfwmustangs and everyone pays cash their cars.

Did you get an offer on your trade before they matched?
It sounds like Tony and the other management dog dicks up there just try to fuck everyone. Pretty sad when you only have one guy in sales who isn't a fucking turd.

What's your beef with NPR, because their listeners are typically more informed than others?

Voting is a constitutional right, overthrowing the government isn't.
The owner cares and he knows I care and that's what matters. I know the owner well. He came to me with a few different ideas and communicated his appreciation regarding the "stangers" even before we discussed me working here. It is very important to him. There have been some other changes not including myself.
Come see me and you'll have the best dealer experience in the metroplex.
My point was that had i not gotten a trade value from elsewhere, they would have lowballed me succesfully. If you got a quote there first, then went elsewhere and they (the other dealer) were a lower trade offer, then you would have proven a point. Either you didnt comprehend what i said, or you quoted the wrong person...
And if i have to go to other dealers just to tell GVF where their pricing should be, then why waste my time? If i can get the same deal or better at elsewhere with less effort, why waste my time with GVF?
