I got free tickets for the first one at JerryWorld several years ago. I took my dad and we had an absolute blast. I can't believe what those tickets are selling for, holy crap.

I thought all tickets are just $10 (said with heavy echo)

We had a blast. There were quite a few times my oldest jumped out of his seat.

That 41 point run by the winner was badass. He pushed it tothe limit.

This year was better than last year, still not as good as some of the years before.
We sat in section 110 - two rows back from the plastic, isle seats right on the 50 -

          Best seats so far.

That's one way of putting it. Definitely a different bunch. I imagine that this was pretty similar to the WWE crowd.

I've never been before, but it was a good time. We had great seats. I would skip the pit pass if we did it again. It was sleeveless t-shirt elbows to rhinestone studded cross jeans in there so jr and I bounced out of that pretty quick. He kind of lost interest halfway through the freestyle event as he was crashing from the pizza, soda and cotton candy so we left early.

you missed the best part. The last two or three free style runs were the highlight of the night.

My 6 year old lost some interest for a little bit through the crappy freestyle guys. But then Max D, the black truck(don't remember its name), El Toro Loco and the Grave Digger brought the fun level back up.

That back flip is a pretty sweet trick.

Yeah, I figured we would miss some good stuff, but we had been there since 4 and done A LOT of walking. The boy was spent and wanted to go home. I'm just glad we didn't have to sit in traffic for an hour to get out of that place.

Believe or not it only took me 15 minutes to get out of there after the event. Traffic isn't that bad for the monster trucks.

So who has the best trick on straightening the axles on the hot wheels monster trucks.

So is the price really worth the hype?

Between tickets and food we were in for about $250. Seeing my boy's reaction when he got close enough to the stadium to see the monster trucks (we just told him he was getting a surprise) was worth every penny. He went apeshit. He's still talking about it this morning, and said he dreamed about Grave Digger. I'll skip the pit pass next time - we got there right around 4 and by the time 8:15 pm rolled around he was tired and out ... we left right at the start of freestyle, the best part.

Most people I talk to have nothing but good things to say about you, but you sure come across as a condescending prick. Do you have an inferiority complex you've attempted to overcome through overachievement? Or were you fondled as a child?

You and slow99 should date. You both have passive aggressiveness down pat.

Is this a challenge I need to ask our local engineers to discuss?

My wife got 6 free tickets in the nose bleed section and had a blast. She said my 2 year old loved every minute of it.

My oldest and I sat in the lower bowl for around $100 and it was the first time I have ever seen him actually get up and cheer for something.

After parking, tickets, food and a couple hot wheels trucks we were in it for $150. Someone gave us pit passes and we decided to skip it due to the length of time we would have been there. 2:30 to 9:30 is a long time to be walking around Jerrah world.

Depends on how hyped your kids get about the whole ordeal. It's damn expensive for what it is. Gauging my son's interest this time around, I'm glad our tickets were free. He had fun, but grew tired of it pretty quick and wanted to go home early.

                              2 tickets - $200 (comped)
                              Parking - $30
                              20 oz. water - $5
                              20 oz. Dr. Pepper - $5
                              Kid's pizza - $8.50
Cotton candy with goofy foam Grave Digger hat - $15
                              Beer - $9.50
Grave Digger die cast - $25

That's $300 for two people and minimal additional purchases. I can't imagine taking a family of 4-5, buying dinner, drinks, treats, and souvenirs. You would have to really love some fucking Monster Jam for that coin.
