Get a handsaw in there too ... cut the wood down in sections.

I have used it on vinyl floors with good success. It kind of acts like a jack hammer that won't ruin your concrete.

so this thing kicked my ass about 2-3 weekends ago, spent the holiday with chemicals stinking up the house to remove and scrape up all the glue, mixed the concrete to patch up the gouges i made with said jackhammer, and ordered the "wood" last night.

only doing like 200 sq ft right now for Jr's "man cave" aka PS4 room. once down i will begin the process all over for the living room, hallways, and utility room....

          god bless.

We have the vinyl planks that look like hand scraped wood. We chose it because of the dogs/kids/amount of traffic we get through the house. It was put in around 5 years ago and still looks brand new. It's waterproof, was easy to install, doesn't give the hollow sound when walking on it and it super easy to clean. I would definitely recommend it. We got this...

I put that exact one down in my 5th wheel earlier this year. Looks good and it's holding up to the abuse that comes with a moving house.

If you go with peel and stick, I'd suggest adding glue to spread on the floor. It gives you the ability to slightly adjust the plank after setting it in place.
