        29/m 5'10" 160 lbs

I had intense pain in my bowels that went away a few seconds right before I needed to take a dump. Started at 17, and at 21 I started having blood mixed in with my poo. Turns out I had large polyps in my large intestine that grew from one side to the other. I was the youngest person they have seen.

At 22 I had to get circumcised, large story.

I can't lay down for more than six hours without my back hurting, we to a few doctors/specialists, and they found nothing. My shoulders are jacked, I can pop my right one anytime. A muscle is underdeveloped or some shit. I probably need surgery on my knees, but I haven't looked into it.

I did not think I would be in this bad of shape.

Been living on borrowed time since I was 20, without emergency surgery, I would have been dead from Crohn's complications. Aside from that, I am healthy as a horse.

I need to lose some pounds, don't drink much. Probably average one night every 2 weeks.

I need to get my diet squared away, and I've done that before, but healthy food just doesn't taste good. I'll slay that dragon at some point, but it ain't today.

Overall health is fine aside from some lower back issues from Kung Fu years ago, but I fight through it.

BP is 115/70, resting heart rate 58. I workout 6x a week and eat healthy but drink more beer than I should.
I hit 8-9 beers a night during the week and 16-18 on Fri and Sat nights. I had back surgery when I was 20 so I sometimes have a nagging there if I tweak it.

Most people I talk to have nothing but good things to say about you, but you sure come across as a condescending prick. Do you have an inferiority complex you've attempted to overcome through overachievement? Or were you fondled as a child?

You and slow99 should date. You both have passive aggressiveness down pat.

                          29/5ft 10in/ 170-180

All of the important stuff like cholesterol, bp, testosterone, etc is right where it should be for my age. I smoked in the Marines daily and then tapered off to a pack a month habit after Iraq in 05 that I've only fully quit in December 2014 when my daughter was born. I have recently cut down from a six pack a night to near nothing at home.
I try to work out 5x a week but I usually get sidetracked this time of year. My only real issues is the joint pain starting to pop up when it's cold outside. If that and some hearing loss are the worst ailments I picked up in the Marines and Iraq though, I feel pretty lucky compared to a few friends of mine.

Had an appendectomy when I was 27 and a cheilectomy on my left toe 2 years ago. Eye doctor recently told me I should start wearing reading glasses and have the beginnings of a cataract. I'm also pre-diabetic (thanks genetics) and have been on that edge for the past 3 years, but managing from going diabetic with diet. Hearing is "normal" for person of my age. Exercise is mainly volleyball once a week for 2-3 hours unless there's leagues or a tournament going on; otherwise, just chasing kids and managing the yard.

Seems like I heard about possible connections to Alzheimer's? That's one of the things I would worry about, if true. My grandmother had Alzheimer's pretty severely and I never want to be in that position (or really, put my family in that position).

I'm 40, 5'11", 230 - 240 lbs and have been a smoker since I was in my early teens. That said, I am in pretty good health according to my doctor.

High BP and heart disease runs in my family, and my oldest brother died of a massive heart attack a couple years ago, at 46. After returning home from his memorial I went and had a nuclear stress test done to check things out and the cardiologist said all is well.

I have cut down my smoking, and intend on continuing to cut it down to nothing, hopefully within the next month or two. I probably need to put a plan around it so I have specific goals, now that I think about it.
