So far I'm doing better than expected. Walking with very slight limp. Like 99.5% from being able to fully extend leg. I'm able to bend knee little past 90 degrees. Started using machines this week with PT. 3rd week of PT. All is healing real good.
    Sweet, lets go shooting!

I broke the left cap off of my right femur when I played football in college. I always saw everyone tearing ACL's and getting to walk a few days later and was pretty optimistic that I'd be up walking around pretty soon after my surgery but boy was I wrong. I guess because the type of injury was different I was on a strict no load bearing regimen for 6 weeks and then gradually increase pressure over a 4 week span after that. I had to basically learn to run again because it looked all funky when I would try. That was 13 years ago and I never did get the feeling back on the outside of my knee. It is just a numb feeling over there and really aggravates me if someone or something is touching it because i feel something is there but my body doesn't know to associate it with pain or comfort.
