  • Recommendations for a body shop

Please feel free to pm me if you dont want to post where others can see. I was rear ended and the impact caused me to break my drivers seat, cracked the tail lights and crimpted the back of my car and the trunk wont open...You can see where the body on both sides have a crimp on both sides on the rear under the back windows...And they say its only $600 in damage. Need suggestions please. Thanks and i'm glad I found you guys from the other site...

You know how insurance companies are. The adjuster came out and said, I could have the back end fixed for $300, the seat for $150 and the tail light for $150.. What I wanna know is what about the body being crimped..He said it was from a previous accident..We continue to fight...If they don't act right, I will bring them an invoice for a new truck...There is a lot more damage than what you can see... Sad thing is my car only has 89,kkk miles on it and its an 89 model...Blue book is like $700... I think I will take them the invoice for that truck...

My car wasn't that bad and it had $7k in damage...I'm willing to bet that either you misheard them, or there is a typo.

But what about having my car fixed? Does me no good if I have to spend more money to replace the seats, a paint job, rear tail light assembly, etc...

They sent me a check for six hundred dollars...I have it in my hand.. When I meet with my attorney I'll ask once(the other insurance company)...give me X amount of dollars or buy me a new work truck....The other guy admitted fault and had he been paying attention, we would not have this issue..The one saving grace from me kicking his butt, is that his 6 yr old daughter was in the truck..glad she was ok at least...

If your car is only worth $700, you're not getting more than that.
