  • RIP Lemmy

He made it to 70. A lot farther than he probably should have.

Ian Fraser Kilmister, widely known as Motorhead vocalist and bassit Lemmy, died of cancer Monday in Los Angeles. He was 70.

He probably should have kept drinking the Jack Daniels.

This is what they were like when I saw them on July 28, 1991 (Operation Rock 'n Roll tour with Judas Priest, Alice Cooper, Motorhead, Metal Church, and Dangerous Toys). That was a truly epic show.

Is it on netflix or amazon? Or do I need to seek it out by other means?

Amazing that he was still out there at 70 and giving a hell of a performance. RIP

I had tickets to a Motorhead show last fall. All the Texas dates were cancelled after he got sick.
                        Sucks.

What's strange is that he apparently died from cancer and was just diagnosed on 12/26. He had a defibrillator installed a couple of years ago. RIP Lemmy.

It has been a rotten — and downright scary — week for Mot?rhead front man Lemmy Kilmister and his fans around the world. The English speed-metal ace, whose band was due to visit Dallas on Friday night for a show at The Bomb Factory, in the midst of a worrisome...

Stopped a show early in SLC and that was it.
