that would be impossible for you to know. Rather than give me the answer, explain your deductive reasoning.

Ray Hubbard holds, at max capacity, 490,000 Acre feet of water. 1 million gallons is 3.07 acre feet. that would be an increase of .000626% or roughly .002 inch in water level.

                Stupid motherfucker

edited: put an extra zero, ooops

8.33 million pounds of water will displace about 5,000 cubic yards of stuff.

Another example of the dunning kruger effect.

He will never be able to comprehend just how dumb he is bcause he is much too stupid to accurately assess his abilities. Sadly, if he could see how much brain power he lacked...he could unstupid himself just a little bit.

sadly, this is true, but I figured the people that he was trying to convince might be saved from his stupidity.

how's the water from the tower going to get to the lake? how much "stuff" will be displaced from all the civil storm lines running at full bore?

Also can you please add into your equation how much rain was received along with the proposed 1 million gallons from the tower?

                                exactly my point.

So if water from Lavon pushes over the spillway, it rushes downstream to Lake Ray Hubbard, which is strictly a water-supply reservoir and not a flood-control lake. From there, the water pours into the Trinity River, joining other waters in the long run to Galveston Bay.

In times like these, with water still pouring into the lakes and the river, the corps is running out of options.
Im not here to argue it, I'm here to say that scientifically you can come up with a methodical number for that equation, but in the real world there is absolutely no way to calulate what would be affected.
