How was your christmas haul this year?

I had a pretty solid christmas this year...my gifts were:

-6 gal pancake compressor
-Several Milling bits: end mill, chamfer bit, tapered bits, fly cutters (overall probably $200+ in nice carbide bits)
-small drone with camera
-a few books
-record player and a few new records
-grilling stuff
-stanley camping shot glass set
-mr heater buddy
-clothes
-moneyz
-DAS BOOT
-houndstooth blanket (my favorite print)
-some other good random stuff for the house, drinking and working.

My gift to myself this year is gonna be a "desktop" CNC machine 8 think so i dont need to go to techshop anymore and can cancel that membership.

Router or Mill?

Router. Looking at these guys:

I do most prototyping with delrin or 6061 so i dont need a proper mill. Also i already have a mini mill i may convert.

That 24" x 24" model looks nice. The small one is lacking in some major areas and im not a fan of the bosch colt except for cutting very soft stuff and def not aluminum unless you want to slow the cutting speed down to a crawl. But for 4k you are def in the range of building your own that will surpass the 24x24 model in both size and capability.
