i would try to find a deal before the end of the year on a '15. the 5.0 is great, but a lot of fanbois get geeked up over their first turbocharged vehicle so they will swear by the ecoboost.

The 2015 F150 Super Crew 4x4 with FX4 Sports Package I'm currently looking at has a MSRP price of about $52,XXX and discounted down to $38,750 before TTL with all the discounts and incentives.

so are you asking if you should buy a $52,000 truck for $38,000, or the price of a repo used truck you were looking at?

thats the troll part, i wanna make you read it again. get the f150.

I had two of the 5.0 f150s in 2011, bought an eco boost in 2012 and another in 2013 ,I personally like the ecoboost for everyday and work, I like the quiet and smooth power plus the torque off the bottom for hauling , we still use a single cab 5.0 for the mower truck and works fine it is really just a preference IMO.

Mine are also fx packages, the gearing is different in each of the package f150 trucks, fx, platinum and king ranch are all differ ten so make sure you pay attention to that when purchasing .

I preferred my ecoboost over my 5.0 fx4.

Isn't is funny how its always some dipshit that's never owned one trying to justify their 5.0 purchase by calling Eco owners "Fanbois"?

Mine is still sitting in the garage, apparently same as the 2 guys I quoted above. I've said it before and I'll say it again, if it were totaled or stolen tomorrow....I'd buy another one just like it. I appreciate the Coyote in a Mustang, but it's a pig in an F150...and there's simply no debate to be had on that fact. I've owned both....have you?

read alittle closer and you will see that I "had" the 5.0's and now have the ecoboost one with 100k and other with 75k, and still do have one 5oh

Don't pay any attention to the troll, he can barely afford his electric bill.

Do you have any experience with Tundra's or F150s to add? Also I am not even sure why this debate is happening again, when the OP clearly stated he is looking at a 5.0 truck.

I traded my ecoboost 2wd on a 5.0 fx4. I now have a powerstroke platinum 4wd. The 5.0 was way too gutless in the bottom end for me.

Did someone say 87 Chevy? This one is for sale currently for $22,500
