You guys might hate but the mid 80's early 90's Porsches are great cars. In the past 5 years alone they have went way up in value.

They are basically one of the last years I call Owners cars. People whom are able to maintain them with out being at the beck and call of a dealer.

With that said. I'd buy one if i had the cash, But id also be about half way to a decent driver 356 and i would keep saving haha.

There is a big Porsche following out here, and well, lets face it, the old air cooled Porsches are much more desirable to collectors than anything water cooled (at least in Hawaii). But, the fact of the matter is, you're going to put a dumbass vanity plate on the car, which spells douche in my opinion.

You will not prove yourself to be interesting in 6 letters or less, nor will you make me want to know you. You have pretty much cemented yourself among the intelligence of those blonde 30 something women driving a miata that says "foxy" on the plate, or something equivalent.

I really cant think of a vanity 911 plate.

Most people think Porsche owners are douches, But they are just Bmw owners .

A big tip with any Porsche and running it hard around the corners. Just like any other car slow in fast out, Buuuuuttt Do not let off the gas or you'll fuck up.

They are a little different to drive. All the weight is on the back and you let off completely it really messes with the suspension and around you go.

DO some autox with it first. My uncle was nuts teaching me to drive his 356 on mountain roads.
