You said something very stupid. If the youth of America is so protected that they can't handle certain colors and patterns on clothing, then there needs to be some more classes on campus. The only "dumbass" was the fucking idiot kid who thought a goddamn tripod was a fucking rifle. There are limits to this kind of stupidity.

i took it as he had the tripod and camera in bags. A tripod could easily be confused for a rifle. Not sure how much photography you do, but typically you keep your equipment in protective cases, much like a rifle/pistol.

exercising his right to walk around in camo taking pics?

I've done a shitload, actually, and no, it shouldn't be. I never have my tripod in a carrying case. You're defending stupidity, and making excuses doing it. You're on the wrong side of this, and you should just admit it. Society cannot be lowered to the lowest common denominator. Some people are just stupid, we shouldn't make new rules as to what you can wear, and what kind of equipment needs bags just so those aforementioned idiots feel safe, and don't make mistakes identifying things.

                            It's about fucking time.

You see how I violated your right to free speech? I did that because I didn't want stupid idiots misunderstanding what you were saying, thinking you were somehow advocating taking their rights away. Kind of like how you're advocating taking away people's right to wear certain clothing, and walk around with camera equipment.

I'm just protecting those people from the disturbance of your trolling. Seems kind of fucking stupid, doesn't it?

lmao! smooth. but isn't that a bit of a dictatorship if everything i say you spin to fit your agenda? it's not neccessarily trolling, when i am just looking at the opposite side of the coin. I am married to an architect, and know many, many more architects that i work with on a day to day basis. I dont have avatars turned on, but i will assume yours is still a selfie in a army helmet weilding some type of gun.

yeah, architecture students aren't like that by any sort. lol, and it's funny to think, that you think, if they dont think like you they are in the wrong.

No, I didn't prevent you from speaking, I just omitted the offensive part. On this website, you really shouldn't be advocating that kind of stuff, because you should know better. It will cause outcry, anxiety, and some people may react with anger. Just like you don't want to prevent photographers from walking around, just omit certain types of clothing

And no, there is no gun in my selfie, there never has been.

What's funny is the fact you're advocating lowering standards to the lowest common denominator, instead of educating people as to what they should be looking for as a threat. You're on the wrong side of this. You don't like it when I do the same thing to you, dismissing it as different, when it's exactly the same.
