If only we had the GM of a Chevrolet dealership on this board...

Find a dealer that will actually discount heavily like MacCulkin or Kerbeck and it is a much better deal. So, get a nice discount now (if you look around) on a new Stingray or pay at least MSRP on a GT350. I think the net depreciation is going to be similar over a 3-5 year period.Ford

He's a character too, very unassuming but hugely rich as he owns half of the flea market out there and half of Van Zandt county.
I was down visiting Dave months back and we stopped in there, it's kind of crazy seeing this little rinky-dink country dealership with a long line of Corvettes out front. They also have what they refer to as their own Corvette museum out back....family owned collection just sitting inside an old tin building full of dust. A lot of 70's era cars, some even with 70's era themes/mods, but also a few mid years and earlier cars too.
Nevertheless, if I was looking to buy a brand new Corvette, he'd probably be the first guy I'd call.70' Chevelle RagTop

I can't see the baddest Mustang produced to date depreciating at the same rate as a base model Stingray, sorry. I guess we'll find out.

That's what the ad jingle used to say back in the day about Lewis Chevrolet.
I always wanted to call him on it
