Is he using a commercial blender or a home blender? A blentec or vitamix should hold up fairly well.

Neither will hold 40 lbs of peppers at one time.

The only benefit a blendtec or Vitamix would have over your usual residential blender is the motor power and reliability. Capacity difference is negligible.

That is the most challenging part of it. In regards to food prep everything is sized in liquid sizes. Gallons, quarts, liters, etc. 40 lbs of peppers is a fucking shit ton of volume. I don't even think you can fit 40 lbs of peppers in a 55 gallon drum. It would take multiple drums, which is why I pointed him towards the TRX-22 with the arm.

It does also depend on the peppers being used in terms of volume, but that's a shit ton any way you slice it.

So you guys made me incredibly curious as to how much 45lbs of peppers are. I found a web site that sells Jalapeno's in bulk. Now these are sliced or dice how you want, and they ship them in 5 gal pails @ 43lbs.

I bet blended a 5 gallon bucket could hold 40lbs of peppers. There is a ton of air space inside the peppers that goes away.

+ stems and seeds that you dont need.

Your reading comprehension sucks. I'm not sure what you're missing here, but he is starting with raw peppers. He wants to load them up, set the blender timer, and not sit there and feed peppers in for hours at a time. A 5 gallon bucket also will not hold 10 gallons of liquid, but I'm sure you'll find a way to argue that as well.
