I've know several people with tundras that tow boats and other trailers with out an issue, the ones I've ridden in with the 5.7 felt damn good. Now I have heard they don't get good mileage.

Yeah, the Tundra and the Ram are worst in the category when it comes to fuel mileage.

What do you fellas think would be a good deal on this truck? I don't want to spend more than $35K out the door. Not sure if they would go that low on it.

Barring the obvious raping, I don't know that there is a "bad deal" on them. The resale on Tundras is insane. Same with Tacomas. I think that is the main reason they don't deal or don't offer the same incentives the other truck manufacturers offer. I looked at them seriously when I bought my last truck. I decided against the Tundra, and their unwillingness to make a deal is what pushed me towards the Ram. I picked mine up for roughly $10,000 less than a comparable Tundra.

I've never heard anyone complain about their Tundra. They are really nice trucks, and the Crew Cab is roomy as hell. Maintenance is minimal, and you see them all over selling for $25,000+ with 100,000+ miles on them.

Glad to see you're still butthurt about all our previous arguments, and that you actually that think you're "somebody" and I'm "nobody". That's actually really funny. Plus coming from an idiot who others here have referred to as "a grade A sack of shit" and who has likely never even driven one, I wouldn't put to much stock into what this lily little fag says.

And hey, I just calls em as I sees em. You guys go right ahead and get you one. Have fun. Don't let me stop you from wasting $35k plus on some dinky shit that gets outperformed by a truck from 1987. Drop $10k off of the price and you might have a point. Or go do a little research and put them up against Ford, Chevy, or Dodge. See how well that works out for the beloved tundra, when it comes to towing.

You just have a really long history of talking out of your ass. So I felt it prudent to warn him that you're a fucking retard, and never know what you're talking about.

Those must be in the same pm's that Rodney is always mentioned, yet nobody has ever seen them.

I've rented Tundras several times, so there goes you talking out of your ass again. 4 of my coworkers also own them. One is on Tundra #3, one is on his second, and the old lady's brother buys a new one every 2 years. But please, continue on... Clearly you have much more experience.

Your truck built in 1987 would get it's ass drug by a 4 cylinder Camry with jet skis in tow. Shut the fuck up.

381hp and 401lb/ft of torque from a 32V DOHC 5.7L engine with 90% of the torque available as low as 2,000rpm. Yeah, sounds real weak.

Well that just can't be. The resident inbred stumpfucker says it can't even pull his junk ass pontoon!

I think dumbass got 5.7 Tundra confused with 4 cylinder Tacoma.

Hell the Tundra V6 can pull roughly 4,500lbs which is more than most pontoons weigh, at least cheaper ones. That is the only scenario that makes sense. I would imagine a possibility of a 4.0L V6 would be huffing up a grade with a boat in tow, especially with a lift kit. Or MAYBE the 4.7L mid-grade V8 in the older Tundra. It wasn't the strongest engine, but it was still solid and reliable.

The 5.7, no way in hell.

Ironically, calling someone a retard when the simple measurement was that the truck failed going uphill and was losing speed. Yeah, I'm the retard here. I'm sure the basic logic of that is lost on you though.

Erm, no. Its was some other guy in a thread, who you also labeled as a "nobody". Short memory, or just a bad one? I never said anywhere that Rodney PM'd me. As far as I know, he never has.

Speaking of talking out of your ass, we get more blind assumptions and poor reading comprehension, I see. But that's usual with you. Go back and reread. I clearly said "my very limited experience". What is it about "very limited" that you don't understand? Hell what is it about any of this that you don't understand? You seem to have exceedingly poor powers of perception.

Alright so confirmed butthurt. Gotcha. You can be safely written off now, like the full blown drooling retard that you are. No attempted brag was made, as if anyone would. Yeah, 87 vs 2014. Hellz yeah 87 is way betterr hurrrr!! More of your inability to comprehend a limited and basic observation. 87 truck pulls well enough up hills with AC on. 2014 truck falters, and does not pull up hill well enough with AC on. Is that simple enough for your limited little mind to understand?
