Clearly a lot, the retina display isn't even that great compared to today's standards. The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is quite a bit better. I think there are even 4k phones now as well.

That's a no brainer at $700. I was happy to get two for $800 each last summer. The best price I know of right now is $835 at MacMall.com. The lack of a sales tax for Texas residents makes it a damn good deal..

Meh.. I googled 6 plus screen size and it said 4.6.

My only point is that with screens that small it's hard for me to justify paying extra for. On my 70" TV, sure.

I have a S6 and an iPhone 5 and both look fine to me.

I have a red green deficiency but that doesn't affect clarity or vibrance. I just don't perceive colors the same as others.

The 6s Plus screen is 5.5, but agree with you that the iPhone 5 is fine.
