OP: I'd recommend Andy for sorting out the issues with your '05. He did a really good job on my vert w/ProCharger. http://www.dfwmustangs.net/forums/sh...ad.php?t=22743

I wouldn't take your car to a shop simply because it's a more convenient location. Lonestar is a good shop.

Some of you have definitely been lucky with HPP and Gearheads. I had a bad experience with both.

i made the short list too, something about not being able to afford you to come tune the mustang.. even though we already did that last week.

Yeah, I get that, but with things like this, it's almost never a one-and-done affair. That, and I don't want to drive this thing too far on the CEL, and finally, if I'm in a situation that requires a tow, that's going to be more money down the drain.

We're lucky in DFW to have a ton of options, and while subjectively there may be a best solution, I have what seems to be a great (at least top 3 by most people's estimation) option that isn't over an hour away.

Noah at PMP. The tuner is actually Daniel at TSS, who fixed the tune HPP did and it was a night and day difference.

I was by there a couple years ago, saw some big black guy wrestling some skinny white dude in the parking lot in their underwear. I think one of their names was leon? I dunno, weird tho

Have SVO tune it. He can do it by ear I bet.

Well, I've got to say, Gearheads did an amazing job. It's like a completely different car. Travis was super cool to deal with and this thing runs like it was shot out of a canon. Can't hate these numbers: 442hp/425tq with a pretty safe a/f. This is gonna be fun. Suffice it to say, it was a great experience and I'd recommend Gearheads.

Why choose one when you (and by "you" I mean me) can have both?
