You're going to have to file a claim so they can pay for the personal property she damaged.
The guys fence she hit said he didn't want to press charges or anything. Said he would fix the fence on his own, he was just happy nobody died. There was 3 people in the car, somehow that pole that went through the roof and windshield missed them all. The police came and said since he didn't didn't want to file anything, they didn't need to either.

Sounds like somebody didn't want to do their job, unless that sign was damaged by other means.
Or... delete this thread, call and put it back on full coverage, make a claim next week.
Now THAT'S gangsta!
Funny you said that, my mom was trying to convince me to do that. I told her hell no, I want to do things the right way, not this "Mexican always trying to save a buck way" she's been living her whole life.... I'm Mexican by way, but the whitest Mexican you'll ever meet. I swear my family is the type when you say I spent $800 fixing my car, they'll say I know someone that would have done it for $200...this type of thinking pisses me off.

your right, it does sound a little too good to be true. Maybe I should stop by his place and see if he really said all that. I did have liability on the car so it should cover his repairs. Like I said, I wanna do things the right way and not get screwed later on, I'm slowing learning my lesson about helping people out.

That's my thoughts, and, might be a hit run thing going on so, could be ugly?
I got a fat ticket when I wrecked my impala and took out a single sign. No other property involved other than my car and the states sign. I want to say it was something like $350 for the ticket.
No way a cop came out and didn't ticket her for something.
