I would pay the extra cash and get the 6. I have the 5 as a work phone and to me it's not really that much different than the 4S with the exception of a better camera and screen.

This is what I was actually looking at if I was able to upgrade and get the phone at a cheaper price. As it stands now, I may just pick up a Motorola Pure or some similar no contact phone.

just switched to cricket. i got the 100$ Samsung galaxy grand prime. It is a great phone, basically a stripped down s5 or s6. no fancy health apps or heart rate monitor so it runs very quick and smooth. Service and call clarity i feel is better than what I have had before also.

My wife and I were both on the service plan that the price increased on. I switched to cricket have been there for a month plus with 0 complaints! She switched to straight talk so we could test them both out. The deal with her phone is it is INCREDIBLY fast, like 40-50 Mbps on speed test fast! Makes using a smart phone AWESOME...i recommend these no contract pay by month places for sure - if you can find a used phone or just buy a new one every few years.

The Samsung galaxy grand prime i LOVE way more than any of the s3,s4,s5,s6 that I had. It does not have all the neat little features, it is a stripped down version but it is very efficient and the battery life is amazing. If you drop it and break it well it is only 140$ brand new to replace!

right now we are paying 75$ a month where we were paying 140$ we both feel like the service, call quality, and speeds are better than we had before.

I could probably get it upgraded if I broke it, but I really don't need a company phone any more as I'm no longer in the "on call" rotation. I'd hate to break it and they take it away. Unlimited / unthrottled LTE is pretty nice.

cricket is from att towers, so the service is no less than you had at att, straight talk uses all the network towers, but if you had a verizon phone and switched you will use verizon towers if you had att phone and switched you will have att towers...not really sure what towers would be used if you start a line with one of their phones? maybe better service that way
