What do you guys think? 2012 Dodge Charger SRT 8

Damn I guess I wasn't the only one that doesn't like it.

Only reasons i can muster up for the inception of a 4 dr charger is the large market for police interceptors... I drive one everyday and its ho hum. At first i was pumped to get outa the vic's, but now im wantin more. The suspension and brakes are leaps and bounds better. The quality is shit and the blind spots are turrible. O, and the 3.5L v6 is a doooooog... I like the way this SRT looks to be honest. New body style is cleaner then the last, but there still heavy and underpowered. Supposidly the new 2011 "pursuit" chargers have a new pentastar 3.6L v6 that well be getting soon. Claims 296hp. 40 more then last. Oh, did i mention theSe things, v6 included, are horrid on gas? There! Thats my unofficial charger review!

Badass2000gt, just be mindful of the quality... Mine has been to the shop on several issues. Almost all electrical. Had a ghost check engine lightthat resulted in needing a new steering column (thats what the shop told me), the transmissions are weak as well. They have a long delay in between drive, park, and reverse. Doing a three point turn is chore. Three chargers so far have had there strut bearings replaced with only 35k on the body. Granted, u wont drive it like we do, but i figured i share. I would NOT buy one... I cant wait till the new ford PI comes out. Jus sayin...

I have a 2008 charger R/T. It actually been a great car and getting 19 mpg per fill up. But that's my wife car. My daily is in my sig.

The car gets horrible, horrible gas mileage.

The electric fans seem to go out every summer.

Build quality is so-so at best

Service at any Dodge dealership has been really bad so far.

Double the price for any SRT-8 parts and a long wait. Nothing is EVER in stock for a SRT-8.


Don't get me wrong, it's not THAT bad, it's not a huge pile of shit or anything. But for the original price of what the car was, it's not worth the price for what you get.

The car is fine for what we use it for which is hauling the baby around, it makes good power, but it's not something I would buy again.

This is what you get when you have union workers go to the liquor store then head to the park and drink their 40's and get high on their lunch break.
A bunch of over paid crunked out union workers putting together cars, and this doesn't apply all.
