6.2l Denali vs ecoboost F150?

Looking to get a KingRanch F150 ecoboost or LTZ Silverado/GMC Denali
The simplicity of the l92 is what has me second guessing the ecoboost.
Who here has experience with one or both?

Had a Sierra Denali for 2 yrs, now drive an EB KR... both nice trucks. The KR interior is better and it pulls my 24' enclosed car hauler and show car or 22' Tige' wakeboard boat much better, the Denali rides a little smoother and sounds better. Stock for stock the performance is very close. Deciding factor for me was the ability to slip in a tune, thermostat and filter and pick up 60-75 rwhp on the EB... gotta love forced induction.

Gm seats are far more comfortable. GM will have superior resale.

Seat comfort is farily subjective. Driver/Passenger weight, size, etc. can affect that so really it is up to the individual to decide which is better.

IMO the KR has the nicer interior but I really dig that the latest GMC/Chevy's are CarPlay compatible. Ford just released Sync 3 which isn't based on any Microsoft crap any longer. I haven't used it yet but reviews are promising. Still, I think they would have done better to use CarPlay like GM and others are doing.

True. Most things with cars is subjective. However even my 04 Silverado had far more comfortable seats than the new Ford's. Last gen yukon was the same thing. Side by side it exceeds the platinum in comfort from the small feedback we have got in our family friends.

I couldn't drive an ecoboost F150, they sound like shit and get terrible gas mileage when towing. The 6.2 L92 is a beast of an engine in stock form and even better with mods.

I like both GM and Frod. But GM nowadays has poor build quality. My brother bought a new GMC Sierra last year. Brand new truck the headliner started sagging completely about two months later. Then soon after they had to remove the windshield and replace the seal because water was coming in. I drove my cousins 2015 yesterday and it have a lot of Rattling specially around the center consul. But they are good looking trucks. I like the new shark gray.

Used truck. I didn't even realize that F-150s that weren't Raptors had the option for that!
Anyone had Ecoboost problems? I saw that they had an intercooler recall, but other than that they seem pretty solid.

If you are looking at '14 or earlier models, make sure you check the dash of the gmc. They all crack in 3 places. I don't know one person with that body style that doesn't have a cracked dash. Even ones that were replaced under warranty have cracked again.

My 2014 gmc Sierra was awesome. Only thing I wish I had done differently was the 6.2 instead of the 5.3

Yeah, pretty much any model could option the 6.2 but mostly you'll see them in the limited, king ranch, Harley Davidson, and platinum trucks. They run hard but they are thirsty. I have a 2011 limited with the 6.2 and 4x4. It averages about 13 mpg.
