We made sure there were no surprises for their new home.
This is whats good about getting a dog that's been fostered vs just picking a cute face at the pound.

We have had some rough times fostering, but the dog wound up exactly where it could be happiest.
We had a beautiful male Doberman come through.
He and I bonded immediately. He was awesome.
He snapped at our oldest pet, the Italian Greyhound, with no provocation whatsoever. I yelled, he ran.
When I kneeled down, he lunged for my face. He got me above the hairline and on the nose as I grabbed his neck and pinned him to the floor.
He immediately loosened up and began licking my hand.
He had some issues and the vet found an old injury to his spine that was probably hurting him. Combine that with his fear of a new environment and he was bound for acting out.

In the end, we found his perfect environment and get to see him thrive on a farm.
