  • X-mas gifts

So for years my wife an I have debated on whether Santa wraps his gifts to the children or not, I grew up with them being wrapped under the Christmas tree but she says that Santa didn't wrap hers they were just there under the tree. So I wanna put this to rest, who all had theirs wrapped and who didn't?

Its a little of both in this house. Some are wrapped and have been under the tree for weeks and then a few that "santa" brings are unwrapped and show up when the kid wakes up the morning of. Either way dont let "santa" steal the thunder completely. There is some fun in it for the kids to believe in santa and also some leverage throughout the year when they are being little shits and you pretend to pull out the cell and call him to report on what little ass holes they are being at the moment.

What!!!!! Where is the fun in opening an unwrapped gift tho?? That's half the fun, not knowing what's under the wrapping paper

Well if Santa wraps, just make sure it is not with the same wrapping paper as family gifts.

wrapped, unless it's something like a bike or a subwoofer box the size of a refrigerator.

We had always left the Santa gifts unwrapped until my dumb ass aunt told my kid about giving her a gift card for something that Santa had gotten her and being pretty sharp, the kiddo figured out that Santa wasn't real and it was the wife and I that were really Santa.

Same story for me.. they were always wrapped at my house but not my wifes. Now everything is put together and set up when they wake up. But at my parents Santa still wraps the gift for the girls over there.

Santa wraps at my house. Those gifts always front and center of the tree in the morning.
