Looking at this for drivetrain but would like to know reason for salvage title.

Autocheck has it with a clean title. I'd guess flood damage and don't expect it to stay that cheap!

Wonder how it would be damaged enough to go to salvage auction but still have a clean title?

Price went above what I believe the car is worth given all the unknowns.

Obviously wrecked ones that won't start go for well over $5k. Low mileage hemis are worth a ton.

Depends on where they are selling also. A family friend owns a salvage yard and gets them from time to time for less than you would think. He is the one that told us about this car but also said given the condition of the body it would go for more than he would pay. I will keep looking though.
