  • $@%^&#! Telemarketers.

Within 24 hours after getting a home phone installed for my home office, I'm getting 5-6 solicitation calls an hour!

I've registered for the State and federal Do Not Call lists, but both say that the calls should stop by June 1st. It's ridiculous that the telemarketers have their system updated within a day of getting the phone, but it takes months to stop the calls.

So far, I've had two physician's offices that have had to leave a message because I was too busy fielding stupid solicitation calls.

You should look into all the ways to fuck with them over the phone.

Sure it kills productivity, but it is definitely more rewarding to know that you had the upperhand.

Thing is if it is a new phone then the number they gave you had to have been active most likely for someone else in the past. If it's new call and demand a new number.

I was given a new phone/number from my company 4 months or so ago. When I first got it I would receive (shit you not) 10 calls a day from telemarketers. It took me almost 3 months of telling them every time I had the chance to pick up that I wasn't Bob and take me off your list. I get the random 1 or 2 calls a week but its better than what it used to be. fuh....

Oh, it's new, because I'm being asked for by name by these dickweeds.

I have fallen in LOVE with telemarketer calls! I think I'm flagged by them to not call though because I get them rarely these days. HOW you ask?

I have a 6 year old niece that will talk your fucking ears off if you'll let her.. so when I see it's a 1-800 number... I let her answer

By the way... I think I should mention...

I signed you up for a few college program call backs. Don't you want to be a PHOENIX!?

I'd call the company that you got it from and ask them why the hell they dispersed your information like that. Unless you signed up for some bs somewhere it had to of come from them.

I setup a home phone with AT&T, and I shit you not, within 10 minutes I had collectors calling for some guy. How does that work? Do they assign the number to a house? Or did they just reuse an old number in the system.

I don't have the phone hooked up anymore.

If it wasn't my work line, I'd totally sic my 6 yr old on them. My luck, the one time I did that, it'd happen to be a physician or EMR calling on their 800 line.

THOSE people are vultures! It took me months to get them off my back before the DNC lists came out.

Pool of numbers and they reuse old ones that are available.

I haven't had a home phone in 10 years, and besides a comedy club that I screwed up and gave my cell I have not received any BS calls.

I like to become as offensive as I can be, and in some cases even push what I think are the boundaries for good taste. I asked one lady if she wanted to be in a snuff film and had to explain what it was. Complete silence followed by "ohhhh lord...." in a hushed tone.
