Question about the new Z06 vette

The most aggressive tire option comes with 6/32 of tread (I think). You'd have 3 or 4 32nds of an inch before it wouldn't pass inspection. Isn't the new car inspection good for 2 years now - those tires aren't lasting 2 years anyways in most cases.

Yeah, I don't recall getting more than 2 years outta Nitto drag radials back in the day, with a bit more tread depth. Anybody that buys a ZO6 to be a garage queen probably won't have a problem making them last, and anyone that likes to drive won't get 2 years outta those tires.

The normal Z06 gets the super sport tires they have normal for a sports car tread. The z07 pkg. gets the cup tires like pictured.
