Question about the new Z06 vette

Anyone check out the tires that come on these? Very little tread depth. How would u get it inspected?

The most aggressive tire option comes with 6/32 of tread (I think). You'd have 3 or 4 32nds of an inch before it wouldn't pass inspection. Isn't the new car inspection good for 2 years now - those tires aren't lasting 2 years anyways in most cases.

Guess that is one route. Lol. I saw a used one with 1755 miles on it an I know the tread depth is at or below 2/32". The dealer ship said that is how they came an they have very little wear on them

I believe they are the michelin pilot spert cup 2 zp tires

That is them. $2500.00 an may not make the inspection with low miles? I was just curious about these an if the would pass? Or do they hold up that well?

If you daily the vette the tires will go out way before your inspection does. If it's a weekend warrior just slide Jose $20 to over look it.

My car has 820 RWHP and I just turned 5500 miles this morning on the original set. I have a spare set up at work to swap when needed....guessing about 7500 miles.
