Maybe your address popped up on the registry and candy wasn't worth shattered dreams?

I don't even turn on the lights because I don't wanna mess with it. If I had kids I would probably be more into the trick or treat stuff. The way I see it I just saved the kids a dentist trip

Yeah I saw all the local churches were packed earlier today. I never remembered churches doing shit on Halloween. Things have definitely changed since I was covering 3-4 neighborhoods for candy and then getting into hooligan shit later in the night.

We knew the neighborhoods well, covered them all of the time on bike/foot, knew which houses to avoid, etc. shits different today.

Down in the Woodlands last year we had a ton of kids come by. We actually just sat out on the driveway with some other neighbors, drank beer, and handed out candy. But we were in a big master planned community and it had a bit of a family feel to it.

Now that we're on west 7th in FTW, we ain't got shit. Not many kids around here.

I'm actually listening to Christmas music right now. Just don't care about Halloween this year.

Groups of 10-20 non stop since 6ish in my hood. Fucking nuts is all I have to say but lots of neighbors also had fire pits and cooking out and drinking also so it was a good time for all.

I can hear that in 30 different voices of people I knew as a kid.

We have downsized since last Halloween. We had hundreds last year. This year about 20-25 this year!!! I guess the smaller the house. The smaller the crowd. Had a couple of little ones "grab and run" on the candy basket.

Saw 2 that never stopped by. 1 of which had a black tahoe following the kid with a guy in a suit.

My folks live in Interlochen and they have van loads of kids popping out onto the street to raid the houses. They are used to it. Lines of kids from the street to their door for a few hours.

Our neighbor was insane. It was crazy busy. Kids were dropped off from other neighborhoods as well to come trick or treat. I would say we answered the door no less than 30 times I which there was 10-15 kids each time. Then I get the fire pit going in the drive way and was out there for another 2 hours and had another 30-40 groups of 10-15 people at a time. Not to mention the stragglers and one offs

We had roughly a 1000 kids in our hood. We took our kids out for a little bit and handed out to over 250 kids before we ran out in 30 minutes.
