My wife has one of the larger cups and like everyone has said, it works really well. There is just something about the lid that irks me and I can't quite put my finger on it. It's like they gave up when they got to the top. Then I see replacement lids at Academy yesterday which made me wonder what the common failure with them is going to be.

They aren't magic. They don't defy physical change. But, they are a great product.

We have a slew of everything Yeti... Coolers, the bag cooler, koozies, cups, you name it. What started it all was my 65qt yeti cooler that I received as a gift. I'm hard on equipment and generally have a cooler bouncing around in the bed of my truck 365 days a year. Previously I would trash a cooler every few months. Broken Handles, Hinges, Cracks, etc... My yeti is around 3 years old and looks like it was dropped from a plane but everything is still intact and it seals/stays cold just as well as it did the first day. I have to keep it locked up like fort knox but it will probably out last my truck.

I have the 30 oz Yeti tumbler and have to say its fucking badass! I left it in my car full of ice overnight on a 100+ degree Texas day. Next morning when I got in the car there was still ice in it. They live up to the hype.

I don't have one, obviously, so I'm not sure what you don't like about them. But I will say customers losing the lids likely makes up 90% of their lid sales.

I just use those big reusable plastic solo cups from Walmart. They are usually on sale for a buck or 2.
