Dog named "Trigger" shoots owner

I could SWEAR I heard this story a week or so ago, but I dismissed it as probably fake. Now all the major outlets are reporting it as real and happened with in the past 24-48 hours.

Anyone else hear of the story prior to today or yesterday? I'm curious if its a fake story that grew legs and picked up by everyone else by lazy reporters.

there was a recycled news story earlier this summer about a dog shooting its owner... turns out it was from 2013

the amount of recycled new stories that are presented as new is kinda spooky when you actually start looking into it
