I have tried to place an ad selling my ATV and it keeps getting flagged off. This is my first post on there and I have read all of the rules but I guess I'm missing something. Someone on here that has experience please see my ATV ad on this site under 2009 Kawasaki Brute Force and tell me what the hell I'm doing wrong? This is very frustrating.

Are you posting in caps? Are you running your mouth in the ad (insulting people or talking trash)? Are you posting every day?

I did post w/out deleting old one first, that may be the issue. no trash talking or running my mouth. Wife won't let me post her tits on CL. And I did think maybe some asshole was flagging it to eliminate competition, but it was flagged within minutes each time. I gave up on CL. Posting it on hunting/fishing forums and here now. Thanks for the help, I'm new at CL and prob won't use it again, it's too complicated and convoluted.

in all seriousness, it's probably someone trying to sell a comparable item. they're eliminating the compatition.

I've had way more luck selling on CL than here. Probably 200x the audience there. The funny thing is though that I had my Cummins tuner on here for a week without a single response. Put it on CL and immediately had dead beats wanting me to meet them 2 hours away and knock $100 off, then get pissed when I did respond for 6 hours. The ironic part is that a coworker actually responded to the ad and ended up buying it.

I sell tons of shit on CL... I had people flagging my mega cab for a while, but I just kept re-listing it and thanked them for allowing me to bump the ad every day in the ad...

If you look at my ad on here it's the same one I was putting on CL. I can't figure it out, there's not another ATV like mine on there but there are some Honda's. I will wait and see if I get any play from the hunting/fishing forums before I try CL again.

Thats yours? I think I saw it once. I just sold mine yesterday and I had hell getting my listing going as well. Try to simplify the shit out of your listing and do not use too much punctuation. Its going to make you look like a retard but it will get it from being ghosted.

It may be something as simple as you using the words "gun racks" as there are a bunch of asshats that do nothing but scan CL for the word 'gun' or any variation of it just so they can flag it. It wouldn't surprise me.

If you are listing it in the moto section then you are being flagged because the craigslist police think it should be in the RV section.
