    U Style Clip on Nuts

    I know this is the wrong forum. But need help. Anyone know where I can find some of thes U Style clip on nuts? I want to find local if possible. I need some to install some running boards on my 12 F150. I got the boards and bolts...just need these clips since the truck has never had any installed...

    I tried Napa and Fastenal but no luck...they only sold me the bolts.

        I really would have thought Fastenal would have that.

        You might try the parts department at the dealership. They use those all over the place, but you'll need to know a specific application with the size/thread you're looking for.

        You might also ask someone that works at a body shop. They probably have a few laying around. Maybe Henry?

          You can probably buy running boards with hardware cheaper than the dealer will sell you the speed nuts.

          Hardware store should have them, but they'll have like four when you need 18

                          I will try all the suggestions you all have made! I need them for the wkd...already went through a pair of slacks because of this..lol
