That said, I may cringe a little when I find out someone reasonable and intelligent doesn't want kids, only because I fear the eventual reality of "Idiocracy".

I have kids and until I had them I did not understand. I understand not wanting them fully though as well.

However, who really cares all that much if a person does not want to have kids. Good for them. You DO miss out on some really cool things though, but again...no one could understand until you have a kid or two.

I know they're just troll jobs but the reason most of these replies are bunk is because even when good folks do decide to reproduce, there is no telling what they're going to get. Smart people often have stupid kids, and vice versa. Who else was it around here that said they weren't going to have any... can't remember.

Anyway in reality I can't be 100% certain that I won't ever have any. I mean rubbers break, birth control fails, etc. I just really don't want to, and am going to try to avoid it.
